Statement of Business Intent
JDA Risk Management Ltd. is committed to providing an efficient, high quality and comprehensive service that meets the specific needs of its clients. It is the aim of the business to always act with integrity, and to conduct its operations in a professional, friendly and supportive manner.
While bound to provide advice regarding legal compliance and best practice we will aim to take a pragmatic approach and provide advice that is clear, practical and that considers the needs, objectives and constraints of the client business at all times.
It is our wish to deliver cost-effective, value-for-money services in which the intended outcomes are clearly identified with the client.
To this end we will:
Provide written agreements regarding service content, outcomes and cost
Identify any aspects of work that fall outwith the scope of any agreement with the client before proceeding
Clearly identify to the client the elements of the service on which costs will be charged.
Our ultimate aim, in providing our services, is to contribute effectively to the success of our clients’ businesses, and to develop each client’s ability to manage their health and safety issues effectively.

Health and Safety
As providers of health and safety services, JDA Risk Management Ltd. recognises the importance of effective health and safety management as an integral part of business operation.
The Company will ensure that all its business activities are conducted in accordance with UK legislation. As far as is reasonably practicable, relevant codes of practice and industry guidance will also be followed so as to ensure the health and safety of its employees, associates, clients and other parties who may be affected by the carrying out of its operations.
Much of the work carried out by JDA Risk Management Ltd. will be on the sites of its clients or other organisations. At these times the Company will also operate in accordance with local site rules and requirements as far as such requirements are considered reasonable and without risk.
All advice given by the Company will take into account relevant legal requirements and best practice so as to ensure that client organisations are able to fulfil their own legal and corporate obligations. JDA Risk Management Ltd. will not provide advice on matters of health and safety in which its employees or associates are not competent.
As a condition of employment, all employees and associate employees of the Company will be required to work in accordance with this policy and to ensure their own safety at all times.

Environmental Sustainability
While the operations of JDA Risk Management Ltd. are unlikely to have a major impact upon the environment, the company recognises that any business activity will have a potentially adverse effect.
JDA Risk Management Ltd. will attempt to minimise those adverse environmental effects arising from the conducting of its operations by taking a responsible approach to:
Carbon emissions
The consumption of energy and natural resources
The consumption of disposable items
The disposal of waste
Travel and transport.
This will be achieved by:
Reducing consumption where practicable
Purchasing and using less environmentally damaging alternatives
Re-using items and articles
Re-cycling waste materials.
All employees of JDA Risk Management Ltd. will be expected to work in accordance with the principles of this policy.

Quality Assurance
JDA Risk Management Ltd. is committed to providing a consistent, high-quality service to its clients. The provision of a high-quality service ensures that the client receives value for money, and helps to preserve the integrity and reputation of JDA Risk Management Ltd.
While the Company is not currently accredited by an external quality assurance system it will operate systems and procedures to ensure that all work provided to its clients is accurate, consistent and in accordance with relevant legal requirements and associated codes of practice or industry guidance.
All advice provided will be checked against relevant legislation, codes of practice, standards and guidance. Where these do not exist, advice will be provided in accordance with the principles of good health and safety management, and commonly-recognised good practice.
All reports and written advice will be reviewed after writing and before submission to the client.
The quality of all training will be monitored via the use of delegate feedback questionnaires and through follow-up review with the commissioner of the training.
All negative feedback or client complaints will be formally acknowledged, carefully considered, and investigated. Steps will be taken to rectify any acknowledged inadequacies in service and/or to improve the quality of service in the future.

Confidentiality
JDA Risk Management Ltd. provides services to its clients that frequently involve working closely with the client and examining its operations in some detail. There is often a requirement to examine the workplace and its methods of processing or management.
In order to protect the business and reputation of its clients JDA Risk Management Ltd. will treat all information obtained as confidential, unless written consent to use the information has been obtained from the client. The Company or its employees will not reveal such information to any third party for the purposes of gain, personal advantage, or in order to give advantage to any of the client’s competitors.
Where requested to do so by the client JDA Risk Management Ltd. will enter into additional agreements on confidentiality, as far as such requests are considered reasonable.
All employees and associate employees of the Company will be required to operate in accordance with this policy as a condition of their employment.

Privacy and Data Protection
JDA Risk Management Ltd is committed to safeguarding the privacy and personal information of our clients and contacts in line with relevant legislative requirements.
We only collect and use information in order to:
Respond to enquires, make service offerings, and provide quotations
Provide the services with which each client has engaged
Provide blogs, updates and information about our services and related products we feel may be of interest to clients or potential clients.
We will retain personal data and contact information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained and in accordance with our legal obligations. We will also ensure that we follow our data retention and destruction processes thereafter.
We will take steps to ensure that Personal Data is kept safe and secure, using appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. Only authorised personnel will have access to your information.
We will not sell or share, with any third party, any personally identifiable information collected by us, without your express permission.

Charitable Giving
JDA Risk Management Ltd. will make available 1% of its profits (or £500, whichever is greater) per year to a JDA Charity Fund.
Donations from the fund will be made to those seeking financial support according to the following criteria:
Preference will be given to local charities, fund raisers and good causes (or those with a connection with JDA Risk Management Ltd. and its staff) over requests made direct from national charities
Preference will be given to those organisations and individuals who are performing specific activities in order to raise money, over those who are simply requesting contributions
All requests for donations must be received in writing in order to gain consideration
A maximum single donation of £100 will be made (or maximum total donation of £100 in any 12 month period) to any single organisation or individual.
Within the limits of the criteria set above, all requests for donations will be judged on merit.
A “Charitable Donation” is one made to any of the following:
Registered charity
Individuals or groups raising funds for registered charities
“Good causes” - individuals or groups raising funds with the purpose of benefiting people other than themselves.
